In 1803, Lt. Governor Peter Hunter proclaimed that all the land north of Front St., south of King St. E., west of Jarvis St. and east of Church St. would be officially known as the Market Block. This area was designated as the city marketplace; a place where residents could come together to purchase local goods and enjoy socializing with each other. As early as 1803, a small wooden structure was located at the “Market Block”, making it the first permanent market in Toronto.

Many of my clients are looking for a new or newer condo to purchase. The appeal of contemporary finishes, clean lines and modern appliances and fixtures are too hard to pass up. For most of them, however, purchasing a turn-key resale condo is their only option as they cannot afford to both purchase a condo and renovate it or they just do not want to deal with renovations.
