On Saturday May 28th, the Live in TO Real Estate Team hosted the annual “Yard Sale for the Cure” at Brian Ross’ house by Withrow Park. The one-day yard sale was in support of breast cancer.
Our clients, neighbours and friends kindly donated secondhand items which they no longer used or needed, to help us raise funds for breast cancer awareness, research and education. In most cases, we picked up the items from the donors.
The best part about this event is that all the money raised – 100% of… Read the rest

Hidden on the East side of the city, nestled between Queen and Richmond, lies a café named after the street it is on. This local favourite, located at 141 Berkeley Street, serves up delicious salads, quiche, sandwiches, pasta and baked goods. Although it’s visibly a small café, make no mistake about the volume of business that comes in and out of the café’s doors. Open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, The Berkeley Café caters to patrons looking for a cozy place to dine or to busy customers looking to… Read the rest

But just south of this serene environment lies something that is unknown to most people outside of the Riverdale area — Riverdale Perk, a laid-back cafe/restaurant serving up… Read the rest

The annual Taste of the Danforth festival, in its 17th year, kicks off in Greektown on August 6-8. This multicultural event, which is arguably Canada’s largest street festival, welcoming over 1.2 million visitors, brings Greek, Thai, Indian and many other tasty cuisine out of local restaurants and into the streets. Enjoy live entertainment by artists like Jesse Labelle and Alyssa Reid or appearances from last season’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance, Canada” competitors, all while getting your fill of authentic souvlaki, grilled lamb and loukoumades (honey puffs) — a… Read the rest
