Summer Smoothies

With summer upon us, it’s once again smoothie season – WOOHOO!!!

I recently attended a nutritional workshop with the athletes I coach at the National Beach Volleyball Practice Centre. During that session, Nutritionist Trionne Moore covered the optimal components of a smoothie, which some of the athletes use as to supplement or replace meals or even just as a refreshing snack, and introduced me to the “Magic Bullet” (but that’s another story).

The Taste of the Danforth

The annual Taste of the Danforth festival, in its 17th year, kicks off in Greektown on August 6-8. This multicultural event, which is arguably Canada’s largest street festival, welcoming over 1.2 million visitors, brings Greek, Thai, Indian and many other tasty cuisine out of local restaurants and into the streets. Yard Sale for the Cure

Raising Money for Breast Cancer Awareness, Research and Education

On Saturday, May 29th, 2010, RE/MAX offices throughout the GTA held yard sales to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness, research and education.

Our team, LiveinTO.ca, was responsible for co-hosting the RE/MAX Hallmark Pape Office’s yard sale. The venue was at Brian Ross’s house and it was a great success — we exceeded our goal!!!
